Florida Community Innovation (Beginning 2023)
During my time serving as a project management intern with Florida Community Innovation, I have been granted multiple opportunities to immerse in the non-profit sector. Most recently, I attended Give Miami Day in my hometown of Miami, FL, which is a major annual giving event, by engaging potential donors, distributing QR codes for easy online donations, and promoting FCI’s mission to raise funds for local community initiatives, while also interacting with attendees, including the Miami mayor, to foster relationships and awareness for our organization. Furthermore, I have been able to shadow at partnership meetings, such as with the Mount Dora Community Foundation, in order to discuss logistics of developing a relationship and align our goals in serving various communities.

Students Taking A New Direction (2021-2022)
During my junior year at TERRA Environmental Research Institute, I reached out to a potential club sponsor and presented her with the idea of a youth advocacy club. The sponsor was beyond excited about the idea and my senior year of high school, along with two of my peers, the idea went into effect and we held many school wide events that promoted a safe and positive school environment. Below are some of these activities which include monthly meetings, red ribbon week activities, and a book exchange. Below are attached links to club meeting presentations.
